We sell buyer-specified training data
Motionyard is a contract-backed data supply network for physical AI: real industrial operations, dedicated collection cells, robot teleoperation, dataset review and model-directed acquisition.
Robot models are short of physical data
Generalist robot policies have shown that large, varied demonstration datasets matter. Unlike text, those demonstrations cannot be scraped. They have to be performed by skilled people, in real places, on calibrated hardware, and then checked, licensed and delivered in a form a training pipeline can trust.
Industry already holds the skills. Factories, contract manufacturers and operations providers do manipulation work every day that robots cannot yet do. Motionyard exists to turn that expertise into training data on terms that are fair to the people and companies who provide it.
What we are not
Not factory software. We don't sell software to run your plant. We arrange authorized work, and sell the resulting data.
Not an annotation shop. Labels are the last step. We specify, collect, verify and license the physical data underneath them.
Not a robot maker. We collect on the embodiment our buyers specify, and stay neutral on hardware.
How we work
- Accepted data, not hours
- Our unit is a buyer-approved episode with a traceable lineage. Everything else is cost.
- Rights before recording
- Site, worker and customer permissions come first. A right we cannot trace is a unit we do not ship.
- Every denominator
- Failures, interventions and rejections are reported, not edited out.
- Earn the next site
- We add sites and cells one at a time, after acceptance, throughput and calibration are proven.
