Motionyard

Your operators know the hard parts

Motionyard works with factories, contract manufacturers and operations providers to collect permissioned, supervised task data for robotics teams.

Apply as a data partner

Three ways to take part

Pick one, or start with one and grow. Every program begins with a small paid trial.
  • Production bench assembly

    Authorize a real workflow

We capture a specific, approved process during normal work, with fixed views, defined fields and worker consent. Normal production continues and keeps funding normal wages.

Suits established manual processes with clear success checks.

You produce: Authentic workplace footage, enriched with SOP data.

  • Illustration: bimanual teleoperation

    Host an isolated collection cell

A dedicated bench in a separate area of your facility. We bring owned parts, fixtures and capture equipment; you provide space, power, connectivity and a named supervisor.

Suits sites with spare floor space and a skilled workforce.

You produce: Staged demonstrations or teleoperation trajectories.

  • Inspection under a stereo microscope

    Staff a supervised task program

Your trained operators run a written SOP on a paid schedule, at your site or ours. We handle review, annotation, delivery and buyer acceptance.

Suits operations providers and contract manufacturers with flexible labour.

You produce: Whatever modality the buyer specifies.

You decide what leaves your building

You approve the scope. Each workflow, camera view and data field is approved in writing before recording. Anything not listed is not captured.

Customer IP stays out. We use owned parts and open designs. We do not need, and will not accept, customer drawings, names or production records.

Workers consent. Participation is voluntary, with explicit terms. Operators are pseudonymized in delivered data.

Licensing is explicit. Permitted uses, exclusivity, retention and territory are defined in the agreement.

Production is separate. Collection cells are apart from live lines: no moving machine doors, energized product or uncontrolled machinery.

You can stop it. Your supervisor can pause collection at any time, and a safe stop is always within reach.

Light footprint, clear responsibilities

You provide

  • Standard power and a network uplink
  • A named site supervisor
  • Operators on an agreed schedule
  • A site safety review with our team

Motionyard provides

  • Owned parts, fixtures and written SOPs
  • Cameras, mounts and, for teleoperation, the robot workcell
  • Calibration, pinned firmware and capture software

  • Pay under agreed commercial terms

How a partnership starts

  1. Intake

Tell us about a workflow and your site.

  2. Review

A call on process, footprint and permissions.

  3. Approvals

Site, worker and customer sign-off on the exact scope.

  4. Safety

A joint risk review, and cell commissioning if needed.

  5. Paid trial

A small sample batch, reviewed by the buyer.

  6. Recurring work

Batches continue only on accepted results.

Common questions

Do you need access to our production line?

No. Real-work capture covers only the workflow you authorize. Cell programs run in a separate area; your line is untouched.

What if a buyer rejects data?

Rejection codes, review windows and who bears the cost are agreed up front. Rejected work does not silently become unpaid labour.

Will you install robots at our site?

Only for teleoperation cell programs you opt into, after a safety review. Many partnerships need no robots at all.

Which countries do you work in?

The collection country is set per program and approved by the buyer. Tell us where you operate and we will check the fit.

How are we paid?

On the terms agreed for each program, typically tied to collection time and accepted output. We propose terms after the review call.

Tell us about your site

Five minutes, no commitment, and nothing is recorded without a signed scope. Please leave out customer names and confidential production details.

Where the work would physically take place.

Describe a workflow you could authorize. No customer names, drawings or production records, please.
